Opt-in sample & message flow
This page documents exactly how people join the SubLine jobsite messaging program, by keyword and by web form, and what they receive.
1. Call to action
Printed on the subcontractor onboarding sheet and posted at the jobsite trailer: "Text JOBSITE to your project number to get schedule and access updates from the general contractor. Msg frequency varies (up to ~10 msgs/week). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Terms: sublineconnect.com/terms — Privacy: sublineconnect.com/privacy"
2. Keyword opt-in flow
The subcontractor texts the keyword to the job's SubLine number.
SubLine replies with the program details and asks for confirmation.
The subcontractor confirms.
SubLine confirms enrollment. Only then can the general contractor text this person.
Keyword: JOBSITE, texted to the project's dedicated SubLine number.
3. When a general contractor adds you to a project
Your consent always comes first. You either sign the paper consent form at jobsite onboarding or complete the web opt-in at sublineconnect.com/opt-in yourself. Only after that does the general contractor attach your number to a specific project. A general contractor can never opt you in on your behalf.
One confirmation text is sent — and nothing further unless the person replies YES.
The subcontractor confirms.
Only now can the general contractor text this person about the project.
No further messages are sent unless the person replies YES.
4. HELP and STOP replies
5. Web form opt-in
The live form is at sublineconnect.com/opt-in. It collects a mobile number and requires this checkbox, which is not pre-selected:
Yes, I agree to receive text messages from SubLine (Emnova Corp) about jobsite coordination for projects I work on. Message frequency varies, up to about 10 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel at any time.
Submitting records the consent — the exact wording above, the timestamp, IP address and browser. No message is sent as a result of the form itself.
6. Paper form opt-in
Subcontractors onboarded in person sign a printed consent form before any message is sent. It carries the same consent language as the web form and the same disclosures. The form and the exact wording are published at sublineconnect.com/paper-opt-in, and the printable PDF is at sublineconnect.com/subline-sms-consent-form.pdf.

This form is read, checked, and signed by the subcontractor who will receive the messages — not by the general contractor.
